Hi All

Can anyone confirm what the country code/national dialling prefix is for Australia. (system options settings)
Setting up Audio Web Conferencing for the first time.

Hi All,

Trying to configure AWC to call participants to a conference. Has anyone successfully got this to work? Tried modifying the DAS string without any success. It only works for internal DID's.

Thanks

Oh you poor guy...
We fought for a couple of hours on that. We ended up with 4 rules I think.
2 because where I'm from has 2 local area codes, 1 for extensions, and 1 for LD calls.
This is a local das rule for my area:
s/^\+.(604.{7}$)/9\1@10.10.1.2/

You can't believe anything you read... unless of course it's this.

Hi Canuckvoip,

At a glance correct me if I'm wrong but your string states that the number the 3300 will receive from the AWC is 9 for an outside line followed by area code 604 plus 7 digits.

Hi voipin,
Yup, the 9 is there so that invitees don't have to put that in to get called.
604 is one of the local area codes here. One of the other rules is exactly the same but for area code 778 also local.

I feel much better now knowing that someone else was also in pain trying to figure this out.

Thanks

No kidding!
What a ridiculous state of affairs...
Hopefully a newer release will have something better than some silly Linux/Sip dialling rules.
Don't feel bad at all. Two of us spent 3 hours screwing around before we tripped over the answer!

Sheesh!

Still unable to get the DAS rules to work for Australia.

The system 3300 Cxi 9.0 UR2 resides in Australia and would also need to dial international numbers in particular Germany.

Australia
Country Code 61
International Dialing Prefix 0011
National Dialing Prefix ?

Dunno voipin,
Totally unfamiliar with your area/dialing rules.
Have you tried Mitel tech support?
Stupid question...
Do the dial out ports have access to the outside lines/PRI?
If you programmed a phone with the same cos/cor would it be able to dial out?
