Audio Video Conflict

I have a problem with audio quality, when there is video activity. ie when watching a video clip, I get a lot of stutter. When there is not much happening video - wise, the audio is fine.
I have changed my sound card
Unfortunately, the video is built in, so I can't change it.
I have tried the lates drivers, and Directx

Any ideas?
