Does any one know of any audio recording or extractor that I can get audio from the internet or youtube and record it?

Hi,
i use All2Wav, which has a 'What you hear' setting as the recording source, so if you can hear it, it will record it:

I use the Mozilla Firefox Add-on "Freecorder Toolbar" for both audio and video.

If audio comes through your speakers you can record it.
If video is on your monitor you can record it.

Also I've found it handy to record old vinyl records to my Ipod since you can start and stop between songs and enter Genre, Title, Singer Name Etc. for each song.
