Hi:
I just upgraded my Compaq Presario 5410US to WinXP-Pro. XP-Pro has reinstalled the necessary drivers for all except the Audio/Sound which is on-board. I've downloaded the necessary SoftPaqs for the Audio & Intel Chipset which is required. Following instructions, I've tried to install the Intel Chipset first which then tells me that the .INF files are up-to-date and the update is then terminated. When I try to install SP27103 (Audio Drivers), it advises me "Driver Not Found, Reboot your system and run Setup again". I've tried another method of going directly to the motherboard Mfr. to download their drivers w/ the same results.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated...

Tnx in advance,

MikeyB

Here is the page for the XP Drivers is that the softpaq that you downloaded?

If so you could try just doing a windows update, this will often download and install drivers for you.
