Audio problems in Flash video

I have a Flash 5 movie that links to a series of MPEG videos. (Actually, they appear in a Dreamweaver pop-up window that is linked from the Flash movie.) Whenever I play the movie, the FIRST video in the series will have no audio. It doesn't matter which video I play first; the first one I play will have no sound at all, but the others will all play fine. If I then go back to the original video, that audio will play.

The only thing I can think of is that the video portion appears in my movie a few moments after a music clip that fades off. Is there something about that music clip that needs to be tweaked to prevent it from interfering the video audio? Or are the two things unrelated?

Thanks for your help.
