HEllo. I am trying to have audio conference with my cousin from very far.
He is using Win 98 / msn 6.0
I have Winxp pro / msn-6.0
My microphone works when I connect with my father also long distance (He has Win Xp also though)
I turn off my firewall because i know that it causes a problem.
When I try to connect with my cousin, it takes a while to try and connect then just gives a message that it was unable to connect. Could the sound card have anything to do with it? He tells me then when he uses the wizard, it works fine.

Thanks.

What software are you trying to use? Is this over dial up or broadband?

Matt J.

P.S. Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.
