I know this a cabling forum, but along with cabling I need to do an audio monitoring system. It is for speech therapy labs. System has to be 1 way. Anyone ever seen any products? The alarm people spec'd out a one way intercom system they sould would work but I don't think it will. The only thing I have found is

Thanks!

Does it need to be a squak box? Like in an apartment building? Or something with a normal microphone? If squak box Valcom makes user friendly and easily installable systems. If you need a regular microphone type setup go to a local music store. You can get small 4 channel mixers and a microphone pretty cheap.

Lorue is very good, but expensive. What is your setup? Someone talking into a mike, or do you need to monitor conversations between people in a room?

We need to be able to monitor speech therapy. I called luoroe and they said there products would work. So we just need to have audio monitoring of about 7 15x15 rooms that parents will listen to treatment from an obvseravation room.

We are looking for a system made for this purpose and the only one I found was luoroe, and the kits were about 330 each. We have 7 rooms to do. Any other links or ideas?

Lorue is the best on the market for background audio monitoring. They are designed for recording audio in stores, offices, and other public areas for security reasons. We have used them with our camera systems and they work very well. Let me know if you would like some other ideas.
