Hi,

I am using Director 8.5, and I am playing external audio files (Not linked to a cast member)
I have a problem trying to find out when the audio has finished playing, as I can not find anything that will tell me when this is the case. Isn't there an event to signal that audio has finished playing?

Is there a way (Using Lingo, and not modifying all my audio files) that I can be informed when they have finished playing?

Thanks.

Two way to do it.
Have a cue point at the end of your audio file using something like soundforge and then watch for the cue point in director.

Or use something as simple as isBusy() to find out if there is anything playing in a particular channel.
