Audio Codes MP-118

We are running a CS1000 release 7.5 and we are trying to install a Audiocodes MP-118 for analog fax machines.

We have programmed extensions on the MP-118 and calls are received and made fine.

However, we can only send out a fax but for some reason we can't receive a fax.

If anyone has experience on these boxes that could help us out would be appreciated.

Can you make a voice call to the MP box? try plugging a anlogue set into one of the MP ports & call it from an extn on the switch

Yes, we can make a call from the MP box to an extension. We can even send a fax, however we can't receive a fax on a fax machine connected to the MP box.

maybe a codec issue switch off the T38 codec in the Audio Codes force call G711

no not from the MP box to an extn,CALL from an EXTN to the MP BOX? & is the switch fully patched upto date (DEP & LW + Linux), what type of signalling is the MP box using?
