audio CD / interactive CD ROM 1

Hey guys,

I am working for a band who want a small CD ROM resentation tacked onto their album.

What they will have a disc that will play in your stereo as well as work as a cd rom when used on a pc.

Are there any tips tricks conventions etc...required for this type of thing? The cd's are going to be pressed (not burnt) so i spose it a little different from the DYI buring of cd's most folk do at home.

Although you’d better check with your CD manufacturer, preparing a CD for pressing is exactly the same as creating a DIY CD. Many CD burning software are capable of creating “enhanced CD (audio + data)”, but the best one is Toast on Mac, which you can create true Mac/PC hybrid enhanced CD.

To create a hybrid Director movie, you’ll need to make two stub movies - one each for Mac and PC. Also need two Xtra folders. All other Director files and external assets are to be shared. This site tells you the procedure step by step:
