Audio Capture from video!

Hi I have a video camera that can record staright off the telly. I want to tape one of the music channels and then extract the audio from that clip and create an MP3 file. Do you know any software that will do this!!

If the video files you create is in mpeg2 format you'll need an altered version of virtualdub to read the files:

Soundforge and Adobe Audition(Formerly Cooledit) can.
Soundforge can open the actual file and save as a different format, Audition can extract audio from a movie file.
