I really need to have sound in Linux. I use Red Hat 7.3 and I have SB Audigy. Creative doesn't seem to have those, and that's truly frustrating. Does anyone know an alternative way to set up this thing under Linux?

Please, spare me from comments like "throw your audigy away, get sb128pci!" or "try a new kernel".

Thanx

Creative don't support linux (as far as i know) but a third party driver should work well enough.....google has the answers ;-)

I found this post via Google:
It says there's already support via the emu10k1 module. The homepage for that is at:
Posts regarding the "emu-tools" available said they were great. Audigy isn't a favorite among the Linux crowd it seems though. But the next time I move Mandrake over this this box with the SoundBlaster Live! 5.1, I will definitely try these out. It was interesting research, thanks for the question :)
