attendees availability box greyed out

When creating any new meetings after October 2004, all attendees availability boxes are greyed out except from the user who is creating the meeting request. Some of these meetings are reoccurring from a year back and they all work fine until it reaches October and then the attendees are greyed out.

Any ideas/help wil be most appreciated,

Try taking a look at the Free/busy option under Tools -> Options -> Calender options -> Free/busy options. The default, I believe is 2 months worth of your schedule that gets updated every 15 minutes to the exchange server, but this may have been changed, which may be what is causing the problem.
