I have a BCM400 4.0(Site A) and a BCM50 3.0 (Site B) networked with VoIP trunks and MCDN on each system. All calls(site A & B) need to be answered by receptionist at Site A. Easy enough. When she's not available, all calls (Site A & B) need to be answered by receptionist at Site B.
What's the best way to make this setup work?

You can forward the calls across the IP trunks. Put a forward button on the recep at A, press that and input the extension number at B. If they need to ring at B if A doesn't answer you can CF no answer A's phone to site B too.

Thanks for the suggestion. With this setup if calls into site B are sent to site A over VoIP and Site A is forwarded to Site B, will the call into Site B take up 2 VoIP trunks for the duration of the call? Hopefully MCDN should take care of that.

No, will take up 1 VoIP trunks, The site B will drop the call when the Site A accept the call.

Should take no VoIP trunks if TAT is enabled.
Make sure both Bcm's are patched to the latest.
