Customer has 2 definity sites both with consoles
Site A has 2 consoles, site B has 1 console
Sites are DCSd together
Cust wants to remove 1 console at site A
Site A takes A LOT of calls and needs overflow
Cust wants to "cover" to Site B if Site A attd is too busy and vs versa
Don't believe IAS/CAS would work
Either Attd Vectoring or vectoring with attd in own splits would work?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
ANSWER:
There is no way to get the attendant consoles in 2 distinct switches, even when DCS'd, to function as attendants in the same switch in an overflow scenario. You could use attendant vectoring to route calls to the console at switch b if the attendant in switch a was in position busy. IAS/CAS will not provide the requested functionality. You didn't mention what version the switches are, but if the support the IP connect version of SoftConsole, you could put a console that is registered at switch a at the switch b location. I don't believe this is exactly what you want to accomplish. You want the console at switch b to act as an overflow for the console at switch a. I don't see any way to accomplish this exact request
