We have problem where the attendant console client is unable to connect to the UCM.

We google it and got this below:

We have to restart:
Cisco CTIManager and Cisco Telephony Call Dispatcher

The location of this service is different with the document. I believe (if i get the correct location), I need to go to "Cisco Unified Serviceability" and
Toos>Control Center - feature services

I only found Cisco CTIManager but could not found "Cisco Telephony Call Dispatcher".

ALSO, If I RESTART Cisco CTIManager, do you think it will bring down the UCM/disconnect Calls?

Any idea?

Problem: Unable to connect to server
You are unable to launch the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Attendant console, and this error message is displayed:

Solution
Restart the Cisco CTIManager and Cisco Telephony Call Dispatcher on the Cisco CallMananger server in order to resolve this problem. These services must be started from the Control Center as shown in this procedure:

Choose Application > Cisco CallManager Serviceability > Tools > Control Center.

Stop/Start these services:

Cisco CTIManager

Cisco Telephony Call Dispatcher

Open the Attendant Console application, and try to connect.

Problem: Error communicating with server is displayed

We restarted "Cisco CallManager Attendant Console Server " in the Cisco Unified Serviceability and it is OK now.

We have UCM 6.1

I was going to mention that you need to check your services. I had the same problem on ver 6.0.1 2000-3...

I will also suggest you to check any firewall in between client machine and the CCM server...
I dont think there is a TCD service in 6.X

I had the same problem with the operators not connecting. Cisco TAC stated there was a known issue with messages queing in the CM. The recommend fix was an upgrade to: System version: 6.1.1.3106-1

Since the upgrade I have had not experienced the problem.
