Hi,
I'm trying to configure Cisco Attendant Console with Callmanager 3.3(2). The console cannot initialize call control (as said in a popup error message). When I look in the callmanager's event viewer, I can see this message from the CTIManager service :

Error: kCtiProviderOpenFailure - CTI application failed to open provider
CTIconnectionId: 270
Login User Id: ac
UNKNOWN_PARAMNAME:ReasonCode: 2362179680
IPAddress: 192.168.0.2
App ID: Cisco CTIManager
Cluster ID: StandAloneCluster
Node ID: CALLMANAGER

TCD Trace contains these error messages :

hi efrob,

do you have an cti framework user in active directory?

If not, you must create an ctifw user with any password (default=ciscocisco).
These pwd, you have to encrypt with an cisco utility.
Open the dos-box on the callmanager and type "passwordutils <pwd>".
Copy the encrypted string in the registry Data Value of the CTIFWPW Value, in \Cisco Systems, inc\Directory Configuration.
