Hi everybody.

I have something to do and i don't know how ....

I want that :
If the attendant is busy (already on phone) the callers can hear a message ("welcome, ...") then a waiting music.
Then the Attendant can see that a call is waiting and he takes the call to say to the caller "keep the line" and he parks him again.
If the attendant is no more busy, the call is automatically redirect to the attendant.

Is it possible ?
I'm trying to do this with "Recorded Overflow Announcement" and a MIRAN card but I don't know if it will really work...

this will work & you have already described the 2 features, ie ROA & Call Park
 
This feature doesn't work with call modifications. If you are getting your calls transfered through any auto attendent, this feature will not work. If you get your calls terminated directly on attendent, this feature should work. You should also use the real console M2250, some times companies uses M2616 or M3904 as an operator set.

But why should I use a the m2250 Console ?
What will it permit more ?

Can I use the Smile system with CIU ?

Will the Attendant can see that a call is waiting ?

Hi,

You can use Smile with a CIU/M2250. The CIU IS a M2250 without the Keys...

The reason that jhonm mentioned the 2250 is that there are permissions and features granted to the attendant and 2250 console by the system that go beyond any permissions associated with regular telephones. So, in order to let the system know that this is in fact an "bonafide" attendant, you need to either use the 2250 or something that emulates one (such as the CIU probably does).
 
I hope all above will certainly be helpful to "jpoirot" to get ROA worked for him.
