We started having an issue where attachments being sent from Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel are blank when they reach the end user.
Both applications send the e-mail behind the scenes, with no user interaction.
However, in Access I was able to change the setting in DoCmd.SendObject to allow the e-mail to display to the user and then they could click Send. When doing this, the attachment appears fine.
The question is what has changed that is making these e-mail attachments go blank? We think it may be a Microsoft Update that came down that caused the issue. We just have not found any other reports of this.
Microsoft Access 2002 SP3
Micrsoft Excel 2002 SP3
GroupWise 7.0.2 Build Number 561
Thanks.
