I am creating a feedback form using Word. There are times the person submitting the form will need to attach (or embed) another file into the feedback Word document. If possible, I'd like to have a link on the form that would pop up a browse window, allowing the user to select a file to embed in the feedback form. Is this possible? How do I do this?

Is there a reason to not just use the Insert menu?

Insert > Object > Create from file gives you a browsing function. Are you asking about some sort of code (VBA) instruction?

Thanks. I am familiar with the Insert function. My fault for not mentioning that. However the user community filling out this form may not be, so I was hoping to simplify it for them.

Also, when the form is locked so users can enter data only in the form fields, the Insert / Object is grayed out.

Thus, it seems, you are asking about some sort of VBA functionality. You will need to turn off protection for forms, do whatever, then protect it again. Please post to the VBA forum.
