We have a Citrix Metafram 1.8 server running on W2k. Our WinXP clients are at remote locations connecting to citrix apps through a web browser. The server has Office 97 and one of the apps the clients use is Outlook 97.
This only happens to one of our clients but whenever she attaches an office document to her email (the outlook.ica app) some recipients get a permission error when they try to open the atachment. Others do not.
I checked that eveyone has read access to winnt\temp and that the user in question has full rights to her own folder but this is already in place.
I tried replicating this by logging on as her thru the web but cannot replicate this at all.
The XP machine she uses is not part of a domain , it is part of a workgroup so I wonder if this is due to something at client level. There is no security tab when looking at the properties folder on this PC because it is only in a workgroup. The user is a local admin.
Any suggestions on where I should go from here would be much appreciated. This is very puzzling and difficult to replicate. Maybe someone else has found the same thing?
