Attachments bundled as .DTF file and cannot be opened 1

Two of our users are getting attachments (MS Office documents) bundled as one .DTF file that they cannot open. I had the original (outside) sender forward the message to me and I got the correct attachments and when I forward this message to the two users they also get the correct attachments which they can open.

Anyone have any clue as to what is happening here?

Hi,

Try what heppens when you set the Person document field "Format preference for incoming mail" to "Prefers MIME" or "No Preference".

The reason for this is that the sender is probably sending using Microsoft Exchange Rich Text Format. You can suggest them to deselect the checkbox "Always send to this recipient in MS Exchange Rich Text Format" for your address book entry in their personal address book.
