someone was asking me today that when they attach say a word doc or that - they what the name of it to appear in the main message as someone else does it and it looks more professional

now as a person that at best uses notepad then i was clueless without looking

anyone know how you do it

client is 6.5.1

Your question is not clear to me. Could you rephrase it? I'm not sure what your user wants to do.

you know in the client you have the top part where the message goes and then you have the bottom part where the attachments go

she wants to attach a doc - say hello.dco and goodbye.doc
now as well as these two docs appearing in the bottom part

she wants them to appear in the main message - in the form of

[hello.doc]
[goodbye.doc]

seemingly you can do it
i personally cant see why on earth you would want to but hey

Try this:

In the GroupWise client, create a new email. Click File > Retrieve. Locate the document and see if it works. I know that it works with HTML files, but I'm not sure if it will work with Word documents. If it does work, I'm pretty sure that you'll only be able to get 1 of the documents to show up, not both.

Hope that helps,
Ron
