Attachment Part.001 supposed to be .doc file

3 people in our Office receive the same attachment from another County. 2 of us receive it as Attachment Part.001 file, the 3rd as the intended word.doc file. Do have the View Attachment radial button in Environment checked. Any suggestions? (GroupWise 5.5.4)

Is the email coming from a Microsoft Exchange/Outlook system? If so, find out if the sender has "Rich Text Format" checked in their OutLook Client.

GroupWise is not compatible with Microsoft's "Rich Text Format" and will cause it to show up in GroupWise as PART.xxx. The following TID explains it...
