Hi guys,

I am just starting to create a form in Access 2007. I have some experience with 2003, but this is the first time using 2007. I noticed that they added an attachment field which is great. What I would like to do is create a button on the form that will open the current record's attachment field. Is there a way to do this? I was going to try and record a macro but the 2007 ribbon has me lost. Thank you for the help.

Here is a solution:

That post references other solutions, but none of the links were active.

In the above post. You save the binary to a file and then shell to explorer to launch the file. I would have assumed there was an easier way to do it, but I have never tried.
