Hi,

Does anyone know of a utility that will allow me to connect to a remote device (via a web interface preferably) that only exists with a local IP address on another site.
I am looking for a remote support solution for Ip telephones that are configged through their own URL, buit obviously since the NAT solution replaced Public IP's I can no longer get at them remotely?

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Can you create a VPN tunnel to the client? That would allow you to route to their internal addresses.

Once a port forward for the needed ports was made on the remote router to the local IP address of interest, you could use most any remote control software.

Not Ideally, but I could is there another way? otherwise I will have to take the VPN route

Bear in Mind it will be multiple and growing numnbers of sites so IPSec would be tricky to keep up to date.

Thanks

Remember these are all independent sites.

Have you considered, if under XP Pro, using just Remote Desktop? Your link is MD5 encrypted both ways.

Or using the under XP SP2, if IPSEC is desired, the new ipsec command tool?
