attaching graphics to text

Working on a small yearbook, need to have text on one side and graphic on the other side of the text box. Want them to move together.
 
While using the text tool, File>Place the image. This is called an 'inline graphic'.

First File> Place your graphic. Then create a text frame and type the text. Then hold down the Shift Key and select the graphic then the text frame. Do a Ctrl + G for PC or an Apple Key + G. The two elements will be linked together and will move as one.

If you want the text to wrap around the graphic, do that first.
