Attaching documents to Email mailmerge in Act 6

Hello
Can anyone tell me how to attach a document to an email mailmerge in Act, I go through all the process and then attach the document from my computer and the mailmerge commences, but when the emails arrive at the other end there is no attachment, I have tried to do this several ways, attaching it to a single email and attaching it to mailmerge emails but it still does not attach - can anyone help please?

I don't think the mail merge in ACT! 6 sent attachments.
