I wanted to send some code to a friend via email.  I sent it to myself first to make sure I was doing it properly.  When I opened the file from myself I received a security warning stating "The publisher can not be determined due to: Authenticode signature not found."  It then gave me the option of opening file, getting more info., or canceling.  More info. did not help.  When I choose open, the file opened for maybe a 1/4 of a second and then was gone.  I tried several more times, but achieved these same results.  Anyone know why this happens, and how to fix the problem?

What's the code? Is it source code? <p>Mike<br><a href=mailto:michael.j.lacey@ntlworld.com>michael.j.lacey@ntlworld.com</a><br><a href= Cargill's Corporate Web Site</a><br>Please -- Don't send me email questions without posting them in Tek-Tips as well. Better yet -- Post the question in Tek-Tips and send me a note saying "Have a look at so-and-so in the thingy forum would you?"

sounds like the email server has had some sort of firewall installed to get around the &quot;lovebug&quot; family (written in vbscript source code) try zipping the files first that should get around any firewall problems and also one i've experienced of the plain text of the code getting put into the body of my email so it can't be downloaded as a separate file
