Attaching a file at a specific time....

Does anyone know of a way to do the following?

Let's say that I have a report to automatically run at 10:00 P.M. on a Friday night and store it in a file on the network.

I would like Groupwise, then, at, say, 6:00 A.M. Saturday morning, to go out to the network, attach the file that was run the last night, and then send it to me in a message.

The idea is, is that I see my file on Saturday morning that ran on Friday night by WebAccess, rather then me having to come into the office on Saturday.

Is this possible? Thank you for any help.

There is no automated way to acompish youur goal with in GroupWise that I can come up with.

Other Ideas;

You can try to find a program that will scan a specified directory for a text file and that program will then send it to your SMTP gateway and deliver the attachment to you.

OR

I have seen (but never used) programs that will record key strokes and mouse clicks. If the report you want is the same name all the time, then no problem. If the name changes, then you will need to see if wild cards will work. Have the recording program record you sending an e-mail with the report attachment to your e-mail address. It may be easier to acomplish this using a small SMTP program to send the message, it may also make the report the body of the message instead of the attachment. Use the Windows Scheduler to activate the job at a certain time.

OR

Go get pcAnyware, it's only about 70 bucks. Then just remote console to your work PC and do what you normaly do if you were actually at work. Brent Schmidt CNE,Network +
