Attachements sent from Microsoft Outlook

Hi,

We are using Microsoft Outlook in one of the PC. When we send the attachment to another person who is using Outlook Express, did not receive the attachment. What could be the reason? Is iit related to some patch?

Has anyone come across these kind of issues?

What version of Outlook are you using?
What version of Outlook Express are you using?
Are you running any AntiVirus software?

We are using Outlook 2000 and Outlook Express 5. Antivirus software is not stripping the attachment.

Try this - go to Tools, then Options, then click the Security tab. Make sure "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" is UNchecked, then click OK.
