Hi there,

i need to be able to link a name to an incoming call on micollab.
so far when creating custom contacts on the user's profile works.
but this is obviously not shared to the rest of the users, also adding more than 10 numbers will be problematic.

can anyone suggest anything that could possibly help me?

setup:
mitel 3300 MXe V8.0
Micollab V8.1.0.61

Enable alpha tagging in system options.
Add the external number including ars digits to telephone directory.
If your external access number is 9 then you add 9~01222333444 to the telephone directory with whatever name you want. Add the tilde between the external access digits and the full number.

You should be able to import multiple entries.

Described in embedded help on MiVB under: Forms Reference / System Features / Features A to B / Alpha Tagging

THank you for the response.

Alpha tagging requires for full number.
our SBC Only Allows a certain format to be sent. with this format Alpha tagging does not work.

when AT is working: External access is 0
0~0123456789

our SBC format:
0~27123456789

we are not allowed to change the format the SBC sends.

do you have any other Ideas maybe?

What number is displayed on the phone during an incoming call?

Can't you match that in the telephone directory?

What do you mean here?
