I was just reading a post you left on the below thread.
From what I gather you are saying that R1 keycodes will work if you put an R2 disk into an R1 machine.
Am I mis-interpreting you ?
Basically, I am curious about this as I need to upgrade an R1 machine to R5 and am thinking would I be able to get away with puting an R2 image and just getting the R2-R5 upgrade ? Pennies are tight with this customer and personally I think Nortel/Avaya should have an R1-R5 upgrade and not reuire their customers to purchase 2 upgrades.
I thought this might screw up the SYSID in KRS ?
