ATT 2wire issue

I have the ATT home package with TV and Internet. The wireless quit working. I can connect if it is not encrypted and left open for everyone in the neighborhood. When I set up the encryption I can't make it work.
I am using the ThinkVantage Access Connections software that is loaded on my IBM ThinkPad laptop. I feel I am missing some simple step or checking a radio button somewhere.

Did you verify you are using the same encryption method on both ends and the keys are exactly the same ?
