ATM

Trying to use a DID for a ATM, I cross connect the DID to the jack to the ATM, when the company test it they either complain that it will not answer or it will not call out to the banks, does the DID need to be programed different, have PRI Board in Nortel Meridian 1 61 C, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that your NCOS of the extension is high enough to dial out, there equipment may not like the 2 short rings of the incoming call. Try dialing the extension locally and see if it answers then

First plug a phone in, make a call, and receive a call. If it works it their problem.
They may have their equipment programed to do rotary dialing for out calling. Try changing in the CLS from DTN to DIP.
I've also have troubles with the baud rate setting once connected. They need to set it no higher than 14400.
