Hello fellow forum members,
I have hired on as "IT guy" for a small but growing company. The phone System here is a Legend 7.0 outfitted as follows:
Single carrier
Power Supply 391B2
Processor CKE3
012 module - unused
408 GS/LS - 3 incoming lines with the 4th attached to a paging system, most extensions used
408 - most extensions used
016 MLX-U - 6 Extensions used
408 GS/LS - Most extensions used
They have been using this for years with key mode and default programming. Believe it or not, no station or button programming!
I have been attempting to replace the 012 module with a 100D module in order to integrate with an asterisk system. I have been reading up on the rather extensive (and cryptic) manuals I have found online.
After hours, I power down the system, replace the card, and using WinSPM 9, do a board renumber.
The system reboots and the MLX extensions work as well as all incoming lines.
The ATL extensions (a combination of BIS and HFAI) don't work, and I've worked myself blue in the face trying to find out why. I always run out of time / patience and replace the 012 card and restore from backup.
I feel I'm missing something very basic and rudimentary. Any insight for this ol' new guy?
