We have a legend with mlx, atl and t/r extensions. On one of the atl extensions is an intermittent problem. Sometimes when you answer a call you cannot hear the caller. The red & green lights appear next to the button. If you press hold then the button you can then hear the caller. (Possibly pressing the button once or several times will get the same result.)
I have changed the phone (twice). Have tried a 34 Button deluxe, BIS 34 & BIS 34D phones. I reassigned the extension to a different port. I checked the wiring - continuity on all 4 pairs.
The problem persists. Anybody ever see this problem? Anybody have a solution?
