ATI TV WONDER USB 2.0 question

i have an ATI TV WONDER USB 2.0 and when i try to play consoles on it using the multi media center, there is a delay in button response for everything. Is there a way to get rid of the delay?? Also i tried win dvr 3 and i do not get the button delay, but there is no sound. I have sound max digital audio drivers for my onboard sound and ive tried all the sound settings and havent gotten any results. If anyone knows the answer to either or both my questions, please help me.
