I have this msg posted in the peripheral forumn also as I wasn't sure if this was a peripheral or an actual video issue.

I've recently purchased an ATI-TV Wonder video device and installed it in my machine.
The specs are:

Asus K7V333
AMD Athlon 2000+
Geforce 2 MX 200
256 MB DDR2700 RAM

I think I set up all the drivers for the ATI device properly as they all show up functioning in control panel.
However, when I try to run the multimedia center to do video capture, i get an error saying my hardware is invalid.
Also, when I first set up multimedia center, everything passes except for my video capture device as it says I have none. What I would like to know is first, are there proper procedures/order to install this, and also, do I have to have an ATI video card for this to work. This device is PCI-not USB.
Any advice would be useful as I am new with this video capture business.

Ah, this card is so finicky. I did a reinstall of windows and then it suddenly decided to allow me to use the video capture feature. However, the sound is always going in and out. Using the TV viewer, sometimes when i switch channels the audio works and sometimes it doesn't. Does anyone have any ideas why this would happen? ~Apex1x

It works better if you plug it in.
