ATI Radeon mobility 7500 driver for windows 2k server

I have an Ispiron 8100 with a 64meg ati radeon moblilty 7500 video. It defaults to VGA driver. I down loaded driver from ATI. They install fine but when I reboot,I can't get pass the login screen. It did the same thing with sp2.
I called dell (lucky if they give you the time of day).
