ati Radeon 64 ddr error

I'm currently running windows 98 with a recently
updated flashbios and recently updated motherboard
agp drivers.
Ever since I installed my new ati radeon 64 ddr vivo
whenever windows starts up I get the error:
"atiS Serv failed to provide required interfaces"

It doesn't seem to affect my video cards performance
at all... but the error is quite annoying...
can anyone help?
I've tried emailing ati's tech support, the responses
only direct me to the websites faq with doesn't
touch on this issue...
I've also tried calling ati tech support, for 3 weeks
now, every day, 3 times a day, and the line always gives
a busy signal.
I'm beginning to think they're a sham.

They provide TONS of support for problems with all ATI graphics cards. Believe me, this would have helped me!.... Please at least give it a shot. There are about 2000 useres there.

are you running a via motherboard or motherboard with a via chipset?
If so try installing the 4in1 driver. John D. Saucier
