Hi,

I am getting the blue screen now and then saying it is perfoming a dump. I have researched and it has said that maybe my video card is causing this problem. Sine the issue is hardware related. I have checked my memory and it seems to be running fine.

I was wondering what would be a good video card to replace with this one? Would a ATI 9200Se do?

Thank you

Possibly a bit rash just changing the graphics card as blue screening can be caused by so many other things.
Besides that, the 9200SE wouldn't be a good choice.
SE stands for "Slow Edition" well not really but it might as well be.

Have you recently upgraded the drivers for the card. I've got the Sapphire 9100 vivo and since the last driver upgrade was getting general crashes that Windows was reporting as a video driver isssue. I uninstalled all the drivers and utilities using the 'Remove ATI software' utility avalable from their website, put an old version back on and it's fine. I suggest you try the same before swapping out your card

Check on the ATI site, there may be special things to do for your motherboard vs the Radeon 9100. Also, check for an updated AGP driver for your motherboard.
The Radeon 9100 has been a shortlived product and is not very supported by ATI.
If you want to upgrade but not for too expensive, the 9600SE is a good choice. Its cost (and 3D performance) is lower than the 9600XT but the software support is better since this is the mainstream ATI board now.

The Sapphire 9100 vivo is basically a rebadged 8500. I've had no problems other than the latest drivers not being very reliable. As I said try some of the older Catalyst packs
