Hello,
I just put together a new system with an ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe MB and a Saphire (ATI) 9600 Pro video card, and it recently had a minor glitch.
When I booted up the computer one day, the video showed what could only be described as "jail bars" of distortion / static on the screen (about 6 thick bars total). I turned off the computer, and re-seated the card in the AGP slot and locked the AGP frequency in the bios to 66MHz with a spread spectrum of .50%. Since then (2 weeks ago), it hasn't happened again, but I want to make sure it was just a one time type glitch and not a warning sign that there are other issues around the corner.
Has anyone else seen this type of problem and is it something I should be concerned about?
