Athlon motherboard for SuSE box

hi!

I was hoping someone could reccomend a good motherboard (something ~1.2 GHz Athlon) and/or vendor on which to build a good SuSE 7.x home workstation. SWMBO has kindly agreed to give me a "budget" for this project as my x-mas present and the IBM x350(s) I have at work are a little out of my price range. :-(

any advice (particularly based on experience) would be greatly appreciated!
