Downloaded aterm and untarred it
installed gcc from sgi and installed it (precompiled)
Next I tried to compile aterm, but gcc was not found, only cc was ?

Anyone knows what's wrong here ?
And if possible, the solution :)

I'm rather new with this so ....

Thx

Simple

I installed gcc, did the trick :)

well,
i guess you forgot to include gcc into PATH

there's a script somewhere deep down in IRIX's own directories which you have to include it.
sorry, i forgot it, will see if i can find it.

for now just do this:
(in bash)

PATH=$PATH:/usr/freeware/bin
export PATH

to check:
echo $PATH
