I'm having some problems with a CICS unit that I had to re-wire and was wondering if someone can help. I have a 3rd line that is used strictly for fax,cc,dial-up through ATA-2's into the CICS. My problem is that when I use the dial-up, it rings out on line 3. When I receive a fax, it will only receive it on my 2nd line. I want both to be used strictly on line 3. Any suggestions, or tips on how to correct this?

what you will have to do to only access line three from the ata is to assign line 3 to a seperate line pool (b) LINES->003->Trunk/Line Data->Line type:pool B
then set up an access code for pool B System Prgrming->Access Codes->Line Pool Codes->Line Pool B: (use whater is available for an access code)
the third step is to set up your ATA's to have access to the line pool you set up above Terminals & Sets->XXX->line access->LinePool Access->LinePool B:Y
Now when you dial a 7 from the ATA line pool b line 3 will be accessed.
Note: Pool B, and access code of 7 are assumed; use whatever is available on your system.

Jerry..
Thanks for the reply. I was beginning to think this was a lost cause. Anyway, I read through your post and I have a question. 1.)When you say to give the ATA's access to the line pool.."Terminals & Sets->XXX->line access->LinePool Access->LinePool B:Y"..Is the "XXX" the DN associated with the ATA's?

Yes, sorry for late response, got kinda busy here JerryReeve
