ATA ringing cadence.

Good day! I have an ATA installed on a fax. If you 4-digit extension dial it, it will give one long ring and the fax answers and receives with no problem. Dial it on the 7-digit incoming number it dual (doulble) rings with short bursts and the fax almost answers with a very short beep but then ignores the ringing. I looked in the programming but can't see where/if I can program the ATA for one lone rings for all incoming calls.

Check ATA-186 documentation online .. go to Parameters and Defaults ... look for Ring Cadence ....
