ATA question

I have installed 2 ATA's and have dial tone from the jack. Is there anything that i need to in the switch so it can recieve/make calls? Does it need to be assigned a port? I have it wired correctly, but I didn't do any programming

What kind of devices do you have plugged into the ATA's and what type of system is it you are using the ATA's on?

If it is a simple analogue phone usually what I do is put a few lines into a Line Pool assing line pool codes, and give what ever extension the ata's are on access to line pool a. It really all depends on the setup you are trying to do.
