I am using a couple of ATA's (PAP2t Linksys) in our Allworx VOIP system to interface with some analog devices.
On the analog phones using the ATA I have noticed that when out-calling and getting a voice-mailbox that the call will terminate prematurely even when speaking and leaving a message. At first I thought this was due to the voice-mailbox being full or other issues on the far end. It has happened with some frequency so now I think it might be the PAP2t. I confirmed it this morning by immediately calling back on a VOIP phone (bypassing the PAP2t) and being able to leave a complete message.
Is there a setting on the PAP2t that needs to be increased to continue a session so the far end voice-mail system will continue to sense a live call? I suspect that the far end voice-mail system is sensing a live call and then hanging-up when my PAP2t does not reply in a timely manner. Could this be the problem?
