ATA dilema 1

Hi Guys,

I found your forum while searching for white pages, or SOMETHING, to help me figure out why I cannot get our ATA to work!! We're trying to use a polycom voicestation with an ATA (not an ATA2, the older one.) I can transfer calls to it, but when I try to place calls, all I get is the intercom. I have it set to LinePool access > Line Pool A: Y/ Prime line: PoolA/ ATA Settings - ATA Use: Off Site.

What have I missed! Maybe I need the enhanced version ATA? In Port/DN status, it's showing up as an ATA, so I know IT "knows" what the device is???

Thanks for your help! I work for a non-profit women's health care organization, so any money saved by doing ourselves is another service we can offer our patients.
 
Program the set for hotline external and the external number will be feature 78 (pause). Remember though that you won't have access to the intercom (from the polycom station)for internal dialing. The way you are set now probably requires another 9 to get out provided you have 9 as the pool A code. Good luck.

It worked! I set the hotline/feature 78, and it works!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
